Water in my Tranny oil 2006 X-45 ???? HELP

I just swamped my 2006 X-45 and got water in my transmission oil. The dealers in town are backed up for a week. Does anyone know if this is a fix that I can do myself??? It is cooking hot out and I have a staff surf day booked!!!

never done this, but I would assume that you should suck out all of the oil. fill it back up, run the motor for a while. suck out all of the oil and fill it back up. do this until there are no signs of water and do it one more time. As I said I have no experience with this but I would guess you just need to get the water out

How in the heck did you swamp an X45. My friend has one and we have had 22 people on it. We have also had 1500 lbs on one side for surfing and 10 plus people and haven't swamped it?

Anyways, there is a vent on top of the tranny I believe that you got the water over so it got in that way probably. You need to pump out all the tranny fluid/water and refill. I am not sure if there are good pumps to do that or a fitting you can loosen and drain from the bottom.

I would add that you may have to do this procedure several times to remove the water. Continue to flush until the transmission oil is no longer milkshake (water mixed with oil or ATF). After flushing and filling start motor for several seconds to mix the oil and water and then flush again until the oil looks normal or close to it. Good luck.
