My family friend has the house boat time share with 8 others. Boats name is Kea Lani and is also wet slipped in at Antelope Point. We usually go out week of memorial day and week of labor day. He loves taking me cuz I enjoy going out on the boat with all the kids (they call It baby sitting) and compared to his Tigé, my boat actually has a wake.

My first boat was a 2000 Malibu Sportster LX, then an 05 Sanger V210. I wakesurfed two Supremes at the Polar Bear event in Oct. on Lake Orville and I had to have one. It is one sweet boat!

Its a sweet looking boat. They have zero presence and no dealers in MN. Guess they are just a west coast boat now. There's a pile of used ones here but nothing in the last 10 years. Better change your screen name to Supreme Sue, now!!

Thanks for the compliment on my Supreme RB! Yea I should change my screen name but then it will look like I just joined to WW!
When I was at the Polar Bear the Supreme rep. Charlie was one of our boat drivers. He said Supreme doesn't spend big bucks on advertising or sponsoring pros like the other company's do. They are small like Sanger. I really like the fit and finish on this boat and it has a 3 outlet heater, bimini, Mercuriser black scorpion with smart tow and at a price I could afford. We drove 8 hours to pick it up in Vancouver, WA since it was the last 2011.

Yeah.... I put REV 410's on top to allow room on Z5. It looked odd at first, then when light up the LED's on the REV 410's, it really shows up awesome on top

How's that jeep pull the star? That seems like a small vehicle for such a heavy boat.
Old     (durty_curt)      Join Date: Apr 2008       12-14-2012, 10:42 AM Reply
Looking at the Jeep i believe it's a V8 HEMI package (srt 8?) But still that has to be rough on the suspension and brakes.

I'm sure it's just fine for local towing

That's pretty accurate. The SRT8 can handle the weight fine. But the hitch mopar sells is marginal. It works for local towing and the occasional long haul. Plus its a lot of fun when the boat isn't attached.

How heavy is an Xstar? The Jeep GC is a full size SUV, is it not? A little smaller than a Tahoe but it should still have good brakes and be rated to tow at least 5-6k which should more than cover an Xstar...

Wicked nice X by the way, love the 40th!
Old     (cbarguy1)      Join Date: Dec 2012       12-14-2012, 1:50 PM Reply
Star is 4200# plus trailer so I figure 5500# give or take. Jeep GC with a 5.7 is rated for 6500# so no real issue. Just the hitch is weak because of the center exhaust.

Thanks for the compliment.

Looks like you live in CO, like I do. What kind of long hauls are you doing with the Jeep? Can't imagine any trips west
Old     (cbarguy1)      Join Date: Dec 2012       12-14-2012, 2:41 PM Reply
Actually we are in Washington state. We bought the boat from S&W in denver and had it hauled to us. A long tow for us is 150 miles from Seattle to the central wa. Those are rare because we keep the boat in central wa on the Columbia river. Western wa isn't much good for water sports unless you like early mornings and cold.

There was a fellow TT member going on a tour of the Mastercraft factory last week and he snapped these pics of my 2013 X-30 being built. Pretty much fully loaded, with the 6.0. Should be shipping within the week. Only 4 more months to wait up here in Canada.... maybe 5.

Thanks Johnny. Actually up here it's often so cold when we go riding that the extra heat a dark boat and interior attract is welcome. For about 1/2 the season (spring and fall) we don't even take the tarp off the bow and the heaters are usually on full heat!

There are some sweet boats in this thread! It's good to see it keep going.
