I want to re do the traction on my walker project bullet.

What is the best way to pull off the old traction and get all the glue and stuff off without damaging the board?

I tried to pull a couple pieces off and used a heat gun on low but was so hard, I said to heck with it and put a piece back on.

It is clear that just pulling it off with not work and I will have to use some sort of glue remover.

It is a walker bullet with the X-Trax traction.

Help! I want to re do the board before summer as I do not like the way I did my traction

razorblade

edit: unfortunately there is no easy way. All the better traction is designed to never come off

I would say your best option is to just buy a few new traction strips and put them where you need traction. Not too spendy and you won't have to damage your board.

I used a blow dryer and a lot of patience pulling off small pieces at a time. It also was Xtrak traction on a TWP Bullet. Then, wiped it with Iso. Alcohol till it was clean.

Thanks. So it sounds like a real pain in the A@@

Oh well, I guess I can start now and hope to have it done by summertime

Yeah Yeah Yeah. Sick of hearing you rag on it everytime we go out!!

I also don't like the front foot traction. Too slick. Want to do it all with the same type of knobby stuff the kick pad has.
