I live in Delaware and regularly ride on the Bohemia river of the upper Chesapeake bay. I am reaching out to see if anyone knows any good places to ride with in a reasonable driving distance. The Bohemia is ok but Can be shallow depending on tide. I have no issue traveling about an hour any direction for day trips and a couple hours for weekend trips. Is there any place near philly that is decent? Any insight is much appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

We ride on the Delaware river a bit north of Philly, send me a PM if you want to join us some time. I've heard of people riding the Susquehanna as well but never been there myself.

Thanks Cadunkle. How's the water up there? Do you guys surf or wakeboard?

The water is nice, minimal ship or tug traffic north of the city and a few bends in the river so can usually find good water through the morning. We wakeboard.
