After spending a few days reading it seems like every new truck out has an issue with something. As much as I like the 1/2 ton crews with the 6.5' bed I'm thinking a new 3/4 Chevy or GMC to replace the Duramax.
At 192K miles and 9 years she has been a great truck and I'm not sure any 1/2 ton will get me to almost 200K, really short list of repairs
Struck by lighting at almost 70K ($18,000 worth of electronics and labor insurance)
Transfer case at 110K TSB Chevy covered most of it
Front brakes at 120K
2 injectors at 130K
Water pump at 140K
Rear Brakes at 190K
