I just met the writer/director over the weekend. He's a stuntman that has always been into watersports.

Yeah, it's a bit cheesy, but it's still gonna help increase the interest in our sport.

The mute roll to revert was huge. Looks just as cheezy as any sports movie, but I'd watch it. Is it expected to be a Disney Channel movie or something? Good luck and best wishes to them for trying.

When I heard that Headstrong song, I had to immediately turn the trailer off. Man, that song sucks so bad. If the movie is anything like that song, it won't be viewable.

Did you guys ever see the snowboard movie Out Cold? It was really cheesy but the main story was just damn funny. That would be sick if they made a wakeboard movie like that. This thing seems like it takes itself way to seriously.

doesn't matter what the story line was or what kind of riding or music was in the movie, people on here would be ragging the heck out of it because it doesn't properly represent their kind of style. I agree it looks cheesy, but hey it's a movie with wakeboarding in it. You guys went nuts about the girl wakeboarding in Friday the 13th.
I'll watch it when it comes on the movie channels.

Oh no its like that supercross movie made like 5 years ago. Destroy something Hollywood knows nothing about. The only thing that could be worse if it was made by Disney then it would have singing and dancing on the water.

man my wife in kid made it in the scene on the grassy knoll but i didnt that sux. we went down to the gardens the day they were shooting they were asking for extras for the crowd. was a long day but it was kinda cool to see the stunts.
