I thought I posted this earlier......but I guess it didn't go through....I am trying to get info on them by people who either have them or have ridden a boat with it installed. How much of a difference does it make with performance/loudness etc.... Thanks Brandon

Huge difference in noise levels, and no difference in wake. Highly recommended.

lucky, i think there is a difference in the top of the wake. not size but at the top of the wake it is kinda "frothy" and it kinda makes the top of the wake have a crest to it. just something we noticed.

also, i think now that we took it off there is some more hp then there was with it on

no difference at all in my wake, and I don't run WOT, and never have. So I can't comment @ 45 mph.

At wake and surf speeds, I see & feel no difference. It's not much wider than the rudder, and doesn't stick down as far.

We love ours. Very quiet. So quiet, I sometimes forget the boat is running. Zero exhaust odor. Can't comment on WOT, we wakeboard at 23-25 so a miniscule loss at WOT means absolutely nothing.

i wasnt stating at WOT, i was saying we noticed a power loss getting outta the hole with about 2200 lbs of ballast.

to each his own, also, it does not work for us being bracketed to the fiberglass platform as it has to come off after each us to get into the garage. how are yours mounted? to the swim deck as well?

Is that directed at me? I wasn't even referring to your post. I was referring to the fact that so many worry about losing 1 or 2 mph at WOT.

Just curious Jonny, are you still running your stock prop? We run about the same and repropped..what a difference.

As for mounting, ours is mounted to the platform brackets.
