I just found about about Camp Far West by Wheatland and I wanted to find out how it is for wakeboarding and wakesurfing?

Fairly smooth water, I was out with Tate on Tuesday and it was 63F. It is probably the best place around Sac other then the delta right now...

It's a terrible lake... don't go there .

We go there most of the spring up until July when the water drops rapidly and hidden dangers lie beneath the water. We dinged a few props there one 4th of July weekend.

Tons and Tons of jetskis. Lots of drunk people, some of them are driving boats, we almost got hit by some crazy driver who was jumping this huge boat's wake, luckily he saw us just in time. after the the drunk boat made it to the end of the cove we were riding in they flew back out, and we saw a couple of girls puking off the side of the boat while the guys were yelling drunk tard shouts.

the water level drops bigtime once the snow run off stops. You have to be real careful of rocks and anything else out there. Also, watch out for bodies, they've asked us if we've seen barrels out there..

The lake is very small so it's near impossible to find good water when there is more than 3-4 boats on the lake.

And don't accidentaly drink the water. There are cows grazing on the east shores of the lake, and the run-off of their excrement contains E.Coli.
