I just got a broadcast but can't seem to get a wake big enough out of my 88 sn 2001. I know it will through it, how should I weigh it? Does it have anything to do with riding in a shallow river?

We have a 1982 SN model 2001. We use side sacks, and load the boat with people too (once we had 10 on our boat). Works great, but I wish I had some weight under the bow, perhaps 200 pounds or so.

We tried a water filled back seat. The wake was huge, but too steep.

Earlier this summer we forgot the pump so we ran wtih empty sacks and just three people on the boat. Our son was still able to clear the wake with ease and do a back-roll, even without the wake enhancement.

starboard wake is the only one we have been able to get big. 440 lbs on each side of the motor 6 people. most people on the side.

Went out this weekend and got the wake to look good, but I think I still need some more weight. A friend of mine that boogie boards caught it laying down, but none uf us could catch it standing up. I am going to head to some deeper water this weekend and see if I get better results.
