First, what are you trying to do? Second, learn how to ask better questions.

? Sounds pretty simple to me. I am trying to connect a hose to the bag. I have gone to the hardware store and no such fitting was anywhere to be found that would match the male threaded portion of the bag. Thus I am trying to find out what the threads on a Launch Pad fat sac are... It does not have to be quick disconnect or anything fancy.

I bought a pair of Launch Pads and returned them because I couldn't find any decent fittings. The Launch Pad guys didn't want to hear about plumbing there sacks in to a system.

I bought Fly High sacks. They have a great selection of plumbing fittings.

If you want a more or less permanent connection try this. The OD of a 5/8" bilge hose will fit perfectly in the ID of a standard ballast fitting. Put a 1 1/2" hose clamp around the outside of your sac opening, gently tighten and your done. The OD of a 3/4" garden hose also works nicely. I have used these simple connections for my permeaent ballast for 4 seasons and have had 0 leaks or probs. The water bed fittings work, but I have found they come undone and can't imagaine they allow the same water flow.

try a Male NPT threaded fitting from the irrigation section at Lowes or Home Depot. It has a finer thread (more thread per inch)than a male garden hose fitting. That is probably a 3/4" opening but measure first. Should be able to pick one up for about $1.50

Use a brabed fitting. Worked for me on my old fly high bags.

1inch should do the trick

you can also heat up the tube a little in warm water to expand it

Tried the waterbed fittings last night and I was only able to find one manufacturer. They are super lightweight and chincy. Can't say I would trust them with 700 lbs of water behind it. Thanks for the other ideas! I am sure one of them will work much better.

I used the same barbed fitting that Swatguy posted with a hose clamp around it. No leaks on my 1200# fly high couch.
