This was on Sunday at the Delta (6-10) Morrison has rode in my arms before, but this was the first time Morrison strapped a board on in the water. This is attempt number 2. He got up for a few seconds before he faceplanted. He did try again though. I loved seeing him do this. It brought a big smile to my face. I would like to see other peoples proud Daddy or Mommy moments.Upload

That is awesome. I bought my son a set of those kids skis that are attached but he is not ready to try it and I don't want to force him until he is ready.

I did get my 2 year old out on the kneeboard with me and she loved it.

I guess I should have told you people that Morrison is almost 3 1/2. Thanks Bazel. I didn't think he was ready but he asked me if it was his turn yet? I said of course.

Did you have someone hold the rope on the boat or was it tied?

He rode at 70' feet just like me. I stayed in the water. The last time we did try it I actually stood on the board like a wakeskate with him and he was all strapped in holding the handle. That was really cool. So he thought he was do all the riding. It was a little fast because I had to go 14mph just so I could plain. But I only weigh 140. I am still smiling about now!

That's awesome Dave! Congrats to Morrison too - he looks like he's having a blast. I've got my first kid on the way - due in December. I'm really looking forward to moments like that!

Dave ~~ Super cool! That is how my boy started to ride, just one day he asked if he could ride out of no where. Hooked for life with his first board at 6.

great picture! The look on his face is great, he doesn't even look worried. The angle makes it look like he could fit his whole body through the handle lol

Morrison is 3 1/2. Yes he could fit through the handle, but keep in mind that is a 17" handle. lol

I'm glad to see some parents as ate up about their kids as me. I've finally found something I like better than wakeboarding...watching my kids wakeboard.

Too bad kids don't go from baby to human faster.

I dig them once they can do stuff (form sentences, wipe their own ass, wakeboard!).

Maybe its a guy thing.

Mark, I can't wait for Morrison to get to the stage your little guy is at. Switch riding at such a young age, very cool. He is going to have great fundamentals.
