Hi Guys went for a backroll last night and every time I started to get off axis I would automatically drop the handle. It was like I didn't even have any control over whether I dropped it or not. Is this just a lack of kahunas or what

Duct tape might be the go cause I was saying no matter what I'm not letting go and I was holding the handle tight as hell but as soon as I got sideways I'd just drop it. Its pissing me right off

Get some of those super-grip-never-let-go slalom gloves first, we'll move up to the duct tape from there shall we. next time you try it, think of one thing and one thing only. HOLD ON TO THE DAM HANDLE!

just put one piece from your knuckles to your wrist, you won't be able to release, but if you stuff it, the force of the boat will rip it off, thats if you really want to do it..

Maybe lightly tape your hand with masking tape or something so it will break loose prior to your arm coming off. Also, what kind of question is this? How are we supposed to tell you how to not let go of the rope? I got it DONT LET GO OF THE HANDLE

I know what it means, I do it sometimes too, its all in your head, its the most frustrating thing when you land something sweet but the rope isn't in your hand

I have a problem with keeping the handle too, but I drop mine because sometimes when I rotate, I end up going away from the boat, which makes it impossible for me to keep it. I have a problem with standing tall and keeping the handle in.

I wouldn't suggest this, but if you really wanted to duct tape yourself to the handle you could always use a trick release and a spotter. I think I would actually pay money to watch that.

Going off axis typically is because you have too much weight on your back foot. This causes the board to rotate away from the boat. Remember, your body position, when you leave the top of the wake, is how you'll land.
