r.g. so should i put down 1 more for the x star or whats your deal. this is a "vote" only. it has nothing to do with vlx owners. i dont care who wins! this is for the w.w. community to see what we think is the best wake of 2007. so its right here in front of all you. vote now or leave it alone.. roll with it people and post your votes. why is everyone so scared to post? lets see what happens. d. williams, maybe you could help us all out. as a community, lets have a vote section on the hm page.

brian just laughing, its cool you have a 07' VLX nice ride-both boats MC & BU are awesome, I love debating ppl about this shi+. Im not sure about stock since I havent seen the Xstar ride stock but when loaded up its awesome. In all reality its good that were all into this sport and each love their boats. Nevertheless when ever there is competition debating will never end.... Tidbit: I wonder what the results would be if we posted this on a heavily sponsered natique/mastercraft site?

Bass Tracker Pro Crappie 175 with both live wells and a few large mouths if possible. Also with the bow mounted trolling motor extended to help get that bow into the water. Wake is wicked, very similar to the Skeeter WX2100, but a little better transition.

The poll is useless. 1) Ownership Goggles -- what you paid $65K for owns your brain. 2) Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder -- what you ride on you learn to love. 3) Depth of Field -- most people rarely spend much time on other boats. Today, any "good" wake boat can make an excellent wake. Beyond the "rampiness" preference, any boat can be loaded correctly to create the great wake. So, for me, its all about WAKE EASE and WAKE EFFICIENCY. The best boat makes a wake without a lot of trouble and without a lot of gasoline.

"The best boat makes a wake without a lot of trouble and without a lot of gasoline." EXACTLY!!! This is where narrow beam boats like the SAN 210 and Sanger V210 shine, and one of the main reasons I chose my V210.

"the best wake hands down is the "BONE CRUSHER"" I just love it when people post/answer without even reading the question. lol, I doubt anyone runs an X-Star with only factory ballast. They need huge weight to produce.
