Hey guys,

I am planning a trip to San Diego from Feb 22 thru the 26th and I need to find a place to stay. I have looked at hotels on the beach, Gaslamp area, and other vacation rental condos, etc.

I really would like to find a fully furnished condo for a good price, but after looking online I am not abel to find anything I like for the right price.

It is just my girlfriend and I, so only need a one bedroom, nothing too fancy but not a dump either. Trying to stay below $200/a night if possible.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a nice vacation condo rental in either downtown San Diego, or Mission Beach, PB areas? I am really open to all suggestions, thanks for the help in advance.

did you try craigslist vacation rentals?

I really cant advise on a beach condo rental. I did stay in a Pacific Beach beachfront house last August but that was 6bd.

You should be able to find something.

I would recommend Pacific or Mission Beach. La Jolla may be more than you are wanting to spend.

Good Luck it is going to be mid 80s inland the next few days

I did try craigslist - I just worry about validity with those ads. Never know what is real or bs.

I'll check into the airbnb site, thanks!

ended up booking a room at the Hyatt in Mission Bay - got a nice rate and it seems to be a legit spot.

Thanks for the help though.

Also check out Carlsbad Lagoon if you want to ride. Its only about 20-30 mins from San Diego but usually flatter than Mission Bay.

The Hyatt in Mission Bay is legit. I got married there last summer.

Be sure to hit up the Red Marlin restaurant behind the hotel. Their food is on point.
