Hey all! Sorry to ask such stupid newbie questions, but what length rope would you recommend for new riders? Also what speed?

I just recently bought a 2000 Supra Launch and we started at 60 feet, but that put us right where the wake crosses over in the middle, so we've been riding at 70 feet. We also started out around 20mph, but have since been riding about 18mph. After watching the book, I notice during the beginning drills, the rope seems alot shorter and they seem to be going alot slower.

Thanks for the help!

Adam

Thanks Benj.. I live on Carolina Lakes in Sanford.. Haven't ventured out from here yet.. It's about 600 acres of lake and private, so not usually many people out..

Sounds like your right about there with the speed and rope length. Try 65' @ 22mph and see how it works.
