custom tower. pipe or tubing

i am building a custom tower and wondering what people are going with. i have some tower feet that fit inside a pipe that has ID of 1 3/4

I built a tower using sch 40 1 1/2" steel pipe I would say that would be a minimum. But if your using aluminum you probably want at least 2".

First find out if the feet were sized for Tubing or Pipe, then hit a local aluminum supplier for the correct tube size. Sounds like 2" tubing with .125 wall and that should be easy to find.
