Hi I was wondering if there is any significant purpose or difference between a tandem and a triple axle boat trailer. I personally think the trips look sick but not sure if they are needed.

What size of boat? For most wakeboats a tandem will do perfectly. I would assume you would lose some maneuverabilitie with the trips too.

I have one of the heaviest boats on the water and use a tandem. She rides nice.

I am looking at a Malibu 24/7 or maybe a 23. I have seen both tandems and trips. I think trips looks the coolest but I do not want to get the trips if they are not good for the trailer. I would once again like to have trips but am concerned with wear.

I am not sure where I will be getting a trailer yet cause I have not even settled on a boat yet.

But that said your thoughts are a bonus.
