NYC Wakeboard and Wakeboarder Where to ride

Hi,

I just arrived in New York City.
I would like to know if there is any wakeboard life here.
Can somebody tell me where are the best spot to ride arround NYC. Where and how far is it and the contact.
Any shop where I can find good stuff.

Not much life at all here in NYC...Some people ride in the Hudson, some down the Jersey Shore, Greenwood Lake NJ, and Candlewood Lake Conn, are the big spots...the only stores are Paragon Sports (18th & Broadway) and New York Pipe Dreams (85th & York) Selection is limited at both places....Good Luck.

There are a few people out here but not too many. It seems there are several down the Jersey shore towards Atlantic City.

I was in Paragon last weekend and their selection sucked, bigtime. They had THREE whole boards on display.

I haven't heard of too many people wakeboarding in the Hudson. They're too affraid of growing a third arm or something.
