I just came across (2) 550lb Launch Bags. I'm going to try them out next weekend. Probably put one up front and one on the swim step out back. Or just put them both up front and try to get a rampier wake. Has anybody had any experience with this set up?

why would you put one on the swim step?

Thats the way the bag is set up for. It has straps for snapping around my grab bar. Its not designed to go in the ski lockers on both sides of the motor.

^^brad, that's what i want to know too.

we had this idea about fabricating stand-up bunks for the swim step of my buddy's ps190. the deck would be able to hold it standing still but while underway was another story.

Are you out of your gord? Those straps aren't for snapping around your grab bar! Those things go in the locker and you'll need a big sack for the bow. Or put 'em in the lockers and put taps all the way down.

Mike, I run two 550-600lbs sacks in the back lockers and two 300lbs sacks under the bow seats. I also run about 1500lbs of lead under all the seating in the middle of the boat and I have about 200lbs of lead on the floor of the boat to make weight adjustments without having to move people, and everynow and then we will run two more 600lbs sacks ,one in the middle on the floor and one in front in the walkway.

I can say that Brinks wake is huge! Plus he has the rival ballast system in it so it's a flip of a switch!

Those straps are for the grab bar? hahahahaha I can't believe this guy thinks that... duhhhh... those are you wrap around the entire swim platform... that way it creates more down force on the back end! For the grab bar... hahahahaha... some people... hahahahaah
