I am looking for some options for mounting hardwear for my iPod. I will be using the PXOD from Peripheral to connect to the stero and would like to mount is somewhere near or around the drivers side dash. Anybody have any suggestions of a device that they used that looks clean?

Thanks!

I like messing with mine to much to mount it any where, I did see one at Target the other day in the auto section that was cool. The Ipod mounted on the end of a piece of flex tube and the other end went into a cup holder. I think it was $30.00 bucks, It also had one of those FM transmitters built in so you could use it in another vehicle without hard wires.

I have also thought about the hard plastic Velcro that they sell at Radio Shack.

I use a cupholder mount for my MP3/WMA player. I have a cupholder right at the drivers side below the stereo, so it works out just fine.

I drilled a hole in the cupholder in my nautique, then used one of those belkin cupholder mounts. it's wired directly into the stereo, and all behind the scenes so no wires are showing, which is nice...

Take your Ipod Belt clip ( the one that comes with your Ipod) and put two sided padded adhesive strips on the back and mount it that way. You can put it out of the way because you dont really do anything with the Ipod anyway ( if you are using a peripheral or anything else that controls the Ipod through the Deck.
