I'm getting enough air and rotation on my tantrums, but I'm not able to stick it. I always end up landing with my board first ( a good sign!) and then rolling through onto my back.

What do I do to actually land it? Do I need to stand up a little more? Pull the rope in? I'm feeling that huge tug when my board hits the water and the handle gets ripped out of my hands. Thanks.

put the handle at your hip right as you are starting to land. you are just over-rotating a little to much. keep doing it, you will get it.

Make sure you are looking at the horizon when you come around to land it. If you are not looking straight it will mess you up.
