CWB Absolute?

i have a friend that is just starting out and he was looking @ this board... any comments...BTW... he is thinking about this one b/c of the price($197)

Terrible board and terrible price!

What size is it and where can I buy it?

Does anyone have any info on the 04 Absolute changes and graphics?

hell of a price and absolutely awesome board. if you ride a lot of chop, you may want to look at longer fins though...

Great board. A little loose without the centerfins but you get used to it and bounces a round in little in the chop. Great pop, light and responsive enough to throw all your inverts, spins, shiftys, etc. I ride the '03 CWB Absolute 140. Love it.

the 04 Absolute I believe will now be called the Pure... it has the same mold as the 03 absolute

I heard the pure is an option if you want to put your own stickers or graphics on it...

I believe the only color it comes in is all white... After that you can do whatever

that would be cool. it looks nice. in wb mag it says on their advertisement though that it will be offered as an option that is less expensive than the board with graphics. maybe it has changed.

From what I heard, the 04 Absolute will be slightly different than the 03. The 04 Pure is from the same mold as an 03 Absolute, like Aaron said. The only structural difference I remember was that there are some changes in the molded in fins. There is also a bit more 3 stage rocker. The graphics are different, too. I think they awesome. I pulled these pics from wake.com.au. I think the 141 will be my next board.

The 04 pure is the shape of the 03 Aboustle. It is all white with a decal up top that you can take off if you want.The grafics are customiable where you put the stickers on where youw ant them also they come with stencils to tag the logo on any where you want. The 04 Aboustle has 6 fins. On both sides you can choose to remove part of the middle fin or add on to it. Both are great board and they ride really smooth. I liek the 04 aboustlote better than the 04 pure but I think want you can do with the 04 pure is pretty awesome. Also be sure to check them out in store soon

I think that ya'll are mistaken. The 04 Pure is the same board as the 02 Absolute. The 03 absolute has quite a few changes. The 02 and 04 Pure are 141 and have more of a continuous rocker of 2.75. The 03 absolute is 140 with a series 3 stage rocker of 2.9. Also a few other changes.

Maybe I'm wrong, I just read the board info.

from all I've seen yet josh is right... the pure is the 02 absolute... the 04 as slight mods from the 03 shape... and the 04 flame and freedom has the exact same shape as the 03 absolute with different graphics...

IMHO, the 03 Absolute is a sign of what boards will be like in the future. It's fast. It pops and it lands silky smooth, especially with the Zeus bindings.

that board can do everything.......I ride it with the front fin off. Its probably the best all around board on the market right now.
