Hey I have a place in Chelan that we rent out by the week/weekend http://www.vrbo.com/92134 here is a link if anyone is interested. it's super nice and you can sleep up 14 people with a private pool too. Not much left this summer but some early fall stuff that is very affordable.

No, its a few blocks up from the water with an excellent view of the lake. It's down from Wapato a little in Manson just up from the red apple. Check out the link to our blogspot for more pic's.

Colin, Looks like you where 3 houses down from my aunts place. They have the Searay with the green cover in the 2nd to last pic. Such a great place to stay. We where there in the end of June for a few days. It was great.

I'm heading over this weekend but I cant even use my own house (all booked up). I'll we riding on Entiat which is always butterlicious just a little cold. Good thing it's suppose to be in the 90's all weekend. I was over there in July and Chelan had an insane amount of debris in the water (f'd up my prop) is it still like that now?

Yeah it was pretty bad when I was there. We got a little peice of wood stuck in our prob and made a butt load of vibration. It came out with a little reverse though.

When I was there I hit a few peices of wood. Thought one busted my prop. Luckly when I pull the boat out it was fine.

There is another smaller (much smaller) lake up above our house in Manson called Rose lake thats good for straight wakeboarding. It's always glass and rarely has people on it so it's no party lake but if you just wanna ride it's chill.

I've never heard of it, Maybe when we go next year I'll try it. Its kinda a hassle to get everything outta the water if we moved to that lake for the afternoon. Its like a fricken convoy when we go. 2 boats, 2 Sea doo's, like 14 people, 3 cars, 4 boards, 5 tubes, kites, fishing poles, tools, blah blah blah, haha the more the merrier though right? Its so hectic it's funny.

I thought about going to Rose Lake but ended up getting a spot at the state park instead. Do they have a place to camp there?

No, but it's only about a 15 minute drive from downtown Chelan. If you got to google maps just go to Manson and you'll see it it's one of 3 smaller lakes just off of Green ave.

Anyone ever board at Alta Lake? My sis in law says it's nice and warm, but sometimes has issues with swimmers itch. Not too far from Chelan or Pateros.
