What do people use?

Has anyone every used a carpet cleaning company that you'd use for your house on your carpets in the boat?

I rented a rug doctor from safeway.

I dumped about 3 gallons of black water pulled from my carpets in the boat.

i had the carpet people company go out and do the boat once on a past boat since they were there doing the house.... did not notice it being any better than just cleaining it with a brush and resolve. Seems to work great...

Ditto the Rug Dr. from a grocery. Crazy how much black water comes out. Cheap, easy, and fast.

A buddy had his boat detailed by a car detailing outfit. It turned out really nice. I'm not sure what they used on the carpet, but it looked like new.

You can also powerwash. I would only rec this in the summer when the heat / sun will help to dry the boat out quickly

I use Spray Nine, it's meant for upholstery but works on carpet and gets serious stains out. Test it good first to make sure your carpet doesn't stain.
