Unfortunately, It doesn't look like I'm going to make it this year. Those gas prices approaching $4 is only part of the reason. It's just too busy around the WakeWorld offices (alright, there's only one office) to drive 18 hours and spend a weekend having fun! :-)

Not to mention the fact that some jackass backed into my truck truck yesterday and I can't go out in public in a jacked up vehicle!

Dave, you're putting an offly low pricetag on fun.... I'd say it easily pays back $4/gallon. I'd put the fun value at close to $50/hr.

Hey Mike, the poker night on friday night was Buffalow's deal. Twist his arm a bit and it may still happen. Of course, since gambling is illegal in CA the prizes will have to be "non-cash".

Mr. Mitchell and JMI Construction are really stepping it up this year. He wanted to see a talent filled double up roster and I think we can gladly say that he wont be disappointed. I'm looking forward to seeing who's stepping it up for the CA$H.

Dave, if you don't agree to come up we may have to release some of the "special" pictures from last years event.

the show and prizes last year were dope. had a real good time. if anybody has a chance they should try to get there. the boys at CIE did a great job. plus the neptunes guys also had a real good sound off at lost isle. now they are going to be at spring ride with some dope systems in boats.

On another note - is there anyone that lives in the area that can donate a JOCKY BOX for a keg of RACER #5 in the Red Bull VIP tent Saturady. I'm bring the kegs donated from the Bear Republic & they have all there Jocky boxes out.

No - It runs the beer through coils packed in ice so the keg does not have to be iced down and rins of of co2

-Neptune Audio Sound-Off will kick off early saturday. 9am ish----depending on how hung over Jim is
-Friday afternoon is the elimination rounds for the dub contest. Starts at 3pm
-Saturday at noon the real deal, dub contest starts and runs till the last rider stands.
-Chick flick premiers under the Red Bull tent at 8pm
-Bar is open all weekend..............

The good news is that CWB is sending three of their top riders to the event tomorrow, Trevor Hansen, Jeff House and Derek Grasman. The bad news is that they found a whole lot of short shorts in the back of the Quiksilver warehouse today and they're going to be making a fashion statement all weekend. Good luck with that!
