VOTE - Does Andy Nintzel hate wakesurfers?

i heard a rumor that Andy Nintzel hates wakesurfers - vote yes or no if you think it's true.

He doesnt mind them between the hours of 10pm and 5am. So I vote no.

NO. I don't think he hates the surfers at all, just what their boats do to good water. i am 100% with him on that one. Take your surfing to the chop....sorry but the closest I have ever come to hurting people in a boat when driving was from hittin wakesurf rollers at speed from an unseen boat a mile away, on a flat day, no other boats on the water, wouldn't expect 2 foot wakes to be coming down Old River

I understand though, sometimes you just cant find a good stretch of rideable water with how big wakesurfing is getting.

It's not the "wakesurfers" we hate, it's the product they put out. I was with Scott that day. Anyone in the bow would have been ejected. Never saw any sign of the rollers except the wakesurfing boat 500 yards out.

word on the "street" is.... his girl friend is quite the wake surfer... so no...

actually... i don't even know if he has a girlfriend... so... it just sounded good... just go with it

i actually thought it was funny the thread lasted for so money days with 200+ responses, what i posted wasn't really supposed to be directed at andy.

I must admit I agree with Andy, not on calm days. That being said, we were those idiots out their on Sunday. It was a holiday weekend, we had boarded 2 days in a row and thought ahh, let's just bring the surfboard, it's going to be rough anyways. Wrong!!!! Complete glass! Damn, we felt like idiots ripping it up to surf, but on the bright side we didn't see anyone else wakeboarding at that point.

They were probably 500 yards away in Andy's boat
