what EQ line driver do you use?

Are the clarion's any good?

Looking at the EQS744.

I use the identical one but a 5 band, it's good but I think the line driver voltage is overratted. I'm guessing the 7v is peak. Nice sub/volume/fader controls and the aux input is great for an ipod or hooking up with another boat.

Soundstream MPQ-5XO...

But I think that I cracked a circuit board using heavy metal RCA connectors. I just ordered another one, was thinking of changing to a different unit but decided that a simple R&R is all I have time for at the moment.

I use a Planet Audio 6 channel line driver. 8vac output (actually 10vac measured on the bench) 40$ on Ebay. it is just a line driver, no faceplate. You can use PAC LC1's or equivalent volume controls on the outputs to the amps. Works like a champ.
