Arun is an awesome dude. Got to meet him over the weekend and we got to talk to ab this saturday nite over a few adult beverages and he was really stoked to be in the position to put something like this on. from what he was tellin us he's got some big things in the works. definately not something that you'll want to miss if your in the area.

onlyinboards: Donations are being sent to Howie Crawford (family friend of Colby). I just spoke with him on the phone. Him and his wife are handling all of Colby's finance's. Email or PM me for his address. Thanks man.

FYI... There will also be a Premiere for "Authentic" the areas most anticipated wakeboard film by Overflow Films. Riders from the video will be there as well.

Here is the latest update:

It was pretty cool to see Colby out of his room. Keep praying for him because he's still in a coma. The awesome part is that he is doing so much better from the last time I saw him. His mom says that he is responding to things. They asked his where it hurts, and he consistently grunts for the same places. I get the feeling that he is aware of what is going on around him, he is just not able to connect with the outside world.

Keep praying for him everybody. Thanks.

I have to say that this is inspirational! People who have never met Colby and live halfway across the country got together to raise money. At the expense of sounding corny, good energy like this will likely help him recover. Anyone who says there are no good people left in this world will hear this story from me. I am not sure if it's been said but thanks to all who organized and participated in this event from the DWB community.
