that wave is cortez's bank off the coast of Califronia. they supposedly watched it for years before they were able to time the swell and wind accurately enough to go at it.

Thats a pretty old clip. Cortes Bank is pretty cool, the bottom comes up from 1,000 to nearly 30 in a very short amount of time. I've been by it on a fishing boat, it was flat as it takes a monster swell to break big on the reef. The other fun part is that there are a ton of seals & Great Whites out there. Weee!!!!

Step Into Liquid is a film that any watersports enthusiast should see!

Even if I see the Pipeline section 100 times, I still can't help but get pumped up!! So many great sections in that film, without the (unfortunate) redundancy that often plagues wakeboard videos.
