One on the right is for shotgun shells. The tube is where you put the shot. I used to make shells as a kid at my neighbor's house. The dad was a big time skeet shooter.

Nope, not for shotgun shells. Hint: It's a total one-off, custom...

Yeah, while I'm a happy gun owner & part time enthusiast, I'd be surprised if I knew something you didn't.

Rates are so low, I'm too busy to guess and shouldn't be reading this anyway.

Yes, it is a scaled up Star Progressive Press for 50 BMG. It is a one off custom job for gun author John Ross.

There were three of those made, one for Jon Powers(the mechanist from Willis Tool) One for Kent Lomont(his good friend) and one for John Ross.

The other two are Star pistol(38/.357) and a Rifle Star press.

Are you on cast boolits? John just said that is the only place he has posted that in ten years! We are up at Gunsite for his .500 S&W class.

Cast Boolits is a forum where the real nut jobs hang out! This is where Kent use to write a lot of stuff along with where John Ross and a lot of others post stuff.
