Dave, I hope that you will allow this post to stay in this forum, I need to make sure everyone is informed.
The June 9th NorCal INT League wakesurf contest which was scheduled to be held at the Modesto Res. has been cancelled. The venue that was reserved currently is only 3 feet deep. The original schedule was to run the wakesurfing and wakeboarding events simultaneously.
The NorCal INT League had to move the contest back up to the Villa Lagos venue, and with the number of folks scheduled to compete in the wakeboarding and wakesurfing contests, there simply wasn't enough time to run both at the Villa Lagos venue. Chuck and Linda Payton made a concerted effort to get substitute organizers and even contact other clubs to host the event.
The AWSA is currently in contact with four separate venue hosts and we will complete the orginally scheduled events this summer, but at least the 6/9 stop will be postponed.
I want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we get this difficult situtaion under control.
