If mine stopped working, can it be fixed? I had the same model for 5+ years before it died. Got a new one this summer and it lasted <2 months. Nothing is clogged and I can't get the top off.

Im not sure about that pump but check the male end that plugs into your 12V socket. Sometimes they have a fuse and the fuse may be blown

My fuse was blown on my Rule 2000, and it never quite worked the same after replacing the fuse. from a suggestion from a buddy, I cut off the stock 12v socket, went down to radioshack and purchased one without a fuse, spliced it in and has worked like a charm since. Assuming that your 12v outlets on your boat have are fused, if not I would stick with the inline fuse setup.
