Alot better then I could ever do just not sure what you are going for? I always admire people who have the ability to create like that.

very detailed. There is no way I could have come up with images like that myself. As far as monsters go, they all look happy other than the fly eyed guy, he looks sad. The bird man was hard for me to make out at first, I think because of the thing to the right of its head, looks like another eye almost.

flight007 - Thanks dude. I'm just trying to make monsters that aren't necessarily something you recognize right away. Monsters that some people may see differently than others or not at all. Just depends on your imagination

Chris G. - Thanks! I do try to keep the monsters happy! The "bird man" was a piece for the birds getting raped by all the oil in the gulf. It's going to be auctioned off here soon: http://ripplesketches.blogspot.com/ and the money goes to a charity helping out the animals!

Oh! I finally got a legit link to my facebook page. Check it! http://www.facebook.com/imaginehairyfriend

The explanation on "bird man" makes it much easier to interpret. I didnt pick up on that before.

Sorry Gavin , I still dont get it. Did you get permission to paint that? Maybe I am just too frustrated with the current status quo that makes it ok to go out and deface whatever you want in the name of "art". Meanwhile we are stuck paying taxes for some guys salary to go around town cleaning up after you. Ya, you can sure argue its under a bridge and nobody will ever see it, but I just dont get it. At the end of the day, I guess your right "to each his own", you choose to deface public property, I guess I don't. Am I getting old? Is this what the current generation wants to see when they are outside?

In an acceptable environment (like that appears to be IMO), I personally like good graffiti. Not the talentless, lame threats type gang tagging - big, colorful downtown NYC / Chicago type stuff.

jwag - you are correct sir, i can't argue with ya. & to answer your questions: No permission. Don't think your aging is relative. I can't speak for an entire generation.

trace - agreed brotha, you like shepard fairey?
