The 145 got to SW Florida Tuesday and has been sitting in my family room since. It is a sweet looking board and I am pumped to get it out, hopefully Fri PM. I am hoping it will be the cure to my many failed attempts at a backroll or frontroll. I sent a message to Nick McDonald as it looks like he is the closest guy on the list who wants the 145. If I missed someone, let me know and we will get it straightened out. I don't think there is a 145 list yet. I'll post after I get it out. Many thanks to Shaun for setting this up. It is a good chance to ride a new board and a lot of fun.

i rode the 145 over the weekend and the board is awsome. edges just as fast as any board out there and pops huge and upward like a 3 stage. Greg Nelsons double rocker line is awsome. the board also tracks really well. you can land blind way in the flats ans it sticks no problem

Nick let me know...I actually want to demo this board and now Hyperlite shops around. I would also imagine some NJ guys would like to see it up this way.

What's up Greg,
I'm located in Jackson, MS and I'm on the list for the 145. If you ship it to me or Nick maybe we can meet in Vicksburg to hand it off.

Cheers,

Jeremey, I have contacted Nick and I am sending it to him on Monday. Contact him because from what I can see, you are the closest. I am assuming that the idea is to hit the Southern (warmer)guys first and to have it in the mail as short a distance as possible. I guess I missed your name for the 145 but Nick should be able to get it right to you. Enjoy

Good deal guys. glad to see you all are into the pay it forward idea. continue to let me know how it rides. I gotta go to a local contest in windermere this weekend. pretty sure it will be webcast somewhere. not sure of the site, plus i don't want to conflict with dave w.
keep havin fun.

Hey guys, can I get on this list. I have been out of boarding for about 3 years and just picked up a 99' supra launch in December. I am eager to get back in and will be riding my LF Trip when I get back on. I would love to demo a new board. Is there anything special I have to do besides ride it for a week or two and then hand it off to someone else. This sounds like a great idea. We dont have many boards shops around New Bern, NC, mostly surfing.

I got the 145 out last Saturday and it was awesome. I ride a Premier 141.5 and was a little worried that I would have to get used to the 145 but as soon as I hit the water, it felt better than the Premier. It made me feel like I'm better than I really am. First heelside jump I took a little easy but ended out in the flats. The board really accelerates. Great pop and smooth landings. I had a great time with the board and I hope to be getting one soon. Good job Shaun

Greg, thanks for posting. Glad you had a good time boosting some tail grabs. Alex Kinnon, doing my best to get the board up to the NJ area. when will you guys start riding?

Shaun if I get the board I will make sure the NJ guys will get it. PA has started already, NJ peeps sound like they will start very soon.

the board is supposed to be here thursday. im pretty sure ill be able to get out this whole weekend unless i gotta go to work in baton rouge. but if i do that i WILL ride it the day i get back. Jeremy i think im just gonna ship it to ya and let the shop pay for it so i dont have to spend money on gas to drive to vicksburg and back. it will be next day anyway.

Hey Shaun: Thanks for keeping us New Jersey guys in your thoughts. I'm hoping to pop the cork on the 2008
riding season on April 26. So anytime from then on the promo board will be received, ridden, reviewed
and moved right along.

As you know, the NJ Wakefest is June 14. It would be cool to have the board here for that. We could probably
even get it onto the regional Hyperlite rep's Nautique. But I understand you might rather have it ridden for
a day by some core riders and get actual focus group results, instead of having it be sort of a sideshow with
a larger event.

Hey us here here in Cincinnati ohio just hit the water, 43 degrees, on April 5th.

Shaun we have a whole crew here in cincinnati/ky that would love the opportunity to ride this board. We are trying to get out everyweekend in april. I'm sure there are tons of people wanting to try this board here in the midwest.

We would love to ride it then pay if forward. Just keep the good ole midwest in mind.

Any chance we can get that the 145 directed to upstate NY for a few days, possibly after Alex's NJ wakefest? Demo opportunities are virtually nonexistent around here thus this would be great. Thanks everyone...

Yeah i ride a 140 premier at the moment but i'm a bigger guy 215 so either would work i guess but the 145 might be a better fit? Yeah so just keep me posted.

ok. i finally got out on the board today. its a amazing board. its just a tad loose for me without the center fin. but i assume it comes with some size fin since it has the screw holes for one. anyone know? JeremyH pm me your address so i can ship it to ya tomorrow if i can get to the shop in time. if i cant i will ship it on tuesday.

Good eye Lyon. I borrowed the fins off my Premier. If I had the board longer, I would have liked to try it without fins. It tracks way better than my Premier.

Well after staring at the board in my living room for 3 days I finally got to take it out. Thanks to my boy Brad for the pull. The board was awesome as expected. Murray and Greg are geniuses. It was fast and had lots of pop. The whole crew I was with got to give it a go and everyone loved it. Jana took a pretty bad digger, she got a bloody nose and puffy/bruised eye lid, but she is OK. She is a real trooper. We also got lots of pics of everyone with the board I'll post up.

I'm shipping the board out tomorrow to Walt Hayes in North Alabama.

Shaun thanks again for making this happen. You're the definition of an ambassador.

thank you shaun for promoting our sport in such an unselfish way. i was fortunate enough to ride with brad and jeremy today. i own and still ride my 03 belmont dna, 04 temet dna, 07 murray and roam. they are all very good boards but i have never felt anything like the pop of this board. i am a poor-to-moderate rider at best but the air and distance i got today on this new board shocked me. i only did two wake-to-wake jumps but the first was so explosive it scared me and on my second jump i took about 30% of my effort out of my approach and i still cleared the wake. unbelievable! i suspect this board has a chance to be something really special. again, i am not qualified to comment on a lot of the technical attributes but i can say with confidence that in my five years of riding i have never ridden a more explosive board. thanks brad and jana for the invite and thanks jeremy for taking care of business by getting the board to mississippi. barbara and i had a special fun-filled day. plus we got to sign the board and the accompanying diary. stephen

It's been getting better everyday here in WA!

Uh, oh, but it looks like I'm the only WA person on there, maybe not the cheapest shipping for me, haha but it's nice that I can use my works UPS acct.

Yea what I calculated the total shipping cost for the entire list quite a few different way sand that was the cheapest overall price. If someone happens to post on here that wants it that is close to you I am sure you can just fit them in. There might be a cut off point, maybe Shaun should chime in on that. The list is just to keep the board moving so it does not sit, that way everyone that wants to try it will get a chance.

Well, here are the pics from the Murray ride. Overall, the board reminded me a lot of the Liquid Force Substance, but with softer landings. The board had really good pop and held a good edge (I rode without fins, they must have gotten lost during shipping?).

Thanks to Shaun for letting everyone try out the new ride. I think I will pick one up at the end of the season. The board is now going to Chad Seymour up on Lake Guntersville.

Ok guys got the board the day that I left for vacation, total bummer! Is it cool if I ride it as soon as I get back which will be the 26th, I will ride it then ship it out. I have tried emailing Shaun to see if that was ok but I've yet to get a response. Im sure he is super busy right now and that's cool. If its ok with everybody I will ship it out on the 27th to Grant in cincy! If that's not cool let me know and I guess I will get it shipped out without trying it and if gets back this way I will try it out:-( just let me know!

How does somebody get on this list? If it ends up in the northwest area I'd pay for shipping to get it up to Alaska for the northernmost ride. I got a good crew of guys that ride my boat that would love to ride it. We don't have any shops up here so we never get to demo anything. The ice broke last week and we're going riding next weekend when I get home from work in the oil field. Even if it never gets up here I just want to say that this is one of the coolest ideas I've heard of in a long time. Props to Murray and the wakeboarding community!

Jim,

I do apologize that I have had the board so long. As my earlier post explains the situation, I've emailed Shaun with no response. Don't worry, I shipped the board out today without ever getting to ride it. I was struck by the bad weather bug and I was unable to get out on it due to rain. I do apologize for having it so long.

Grant, its on the way
