Got the prop on today and tried it out and I must say, I am extremely impressed. It runs higher RPM's but holy S*** is it powerful. W/O weight there is no way you can just pin it to get a rider up, you'd rip the guys arm off. With weight half throttle is all that's necessary. It felt smoother than my old prop and gets up on plane in no time. All 3250 pounds we had in the boat moved without and hassle. Just got on plane in about the same time as normal. Crazy how much of a difference that prop made on my boat.

Yea a prop can make a night and day difference in your boat's hole shot. Especially loaded down.

My tach went up about 2-300 rpm with a 537 w/ 16.5" pitch. Not as aggressive as a 1235, so it may be a tad more.

I have one on my VLX with the Hammerhead. It's a brutal combination on the wallet but you can sack the sheet out of the boat.

yeah it went from about 26 unloaded at 27mph to about 29 unloaded so it does drain the gas quickly but its well worth it. the torque can lift any amount of weight I'll ever need.
