Is this pre or post wood stringer era?

Also can I stash enough weight out of view for a family wake? I don't need a surf wake and my crew is very young and just learning so W2W stuff will be about it.

You experienced opinion is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the sport nautique went away from wood stringers in 93. 89-92 had wood.

The Sport will throw a good beginner wake with no weight. Throw a single fat sac in the back behind the engine compartment and it will beef it up a bit. Once your crew outgrows the wake, just add acouple more sacs and you will be golden. It will be a bit crammed if you have more than a couple sacs, but the wake will be good.

I had a Sport for many years and it was a great boat.

Thank you. The issue is that the boat is 4.5 hours away. When I go I want to take my truck and a check. Not my percussion hammer and moisture meter.

If it looks like it looks and actually starts on a hose. Fine. The last three boats I looked at all had rotten grids.

I guess Ill get the HIN from the seller and call CC.

Again thank you for your response.

OK CC says no wood in the stringers but she has a plywood deck. Does anybody know if the seat backs are all plywood too? Sorry for all the ???. It's a long drive to see the boat and the seller is less informed than I am.
