This is my 6 year old out at Oroville this last weekend. This was his first attempt at surfing. He was able to let go of the rope for about 10 seconds. He is totally hooked. He is using my yellow loogy but now he wants his own board of course. Any suggestions. He only weighs 50 pounds.Upload

He has used the broadcast 4'9" and the yellow loogy from Inland. He is able to waterstart fine but I think a smaller board would be better. I am hoping for some suggestions. In these pictures I have no ballast and am going around 9 mph.

its always awesome when the kids pick up something you love to do also. I had my oldest son riding my tanker board in the surf at 2 years old and he gets out a couple times a year with me now every year, he's 7 now and just started wakeboarding.
