I've got a 2001 SAN with stock ballast and am thinking of adding some weight. So what is your weight setup in your SAN?

We have a supersport 210 (same hull) and run
450 each side of the engine (900 rear)
600/700 bow
--we have a ski locker sac that holds 800 but usually just half fill, and if there are lots of people we just won't fill it.

I have a 2000 SAN and run 500 lbs in each rear locker as well as 500 lbs in the ski locker and a Fly High integrated bow sac that probably holds close to 400 lbs due to limited space. I run the back sacs half full if I have a lot of people in the boat. I fill/empty all of this with 2 Ballast Puppies pumps using 3/4" intakes. Works awesome and everyone says my wake is one of gthe biggest and nicest wakes they have hit. Let me know if you want pics and I will send them to you.

240 under cushions in the nose.

400 in the ski locker.

160 under the rear seats.

400 both sides of the motor.

All the hidden weight is POP bags. I highly recommend them.

200 lbs. of lead under the cushions in the nose

700 custom sac in the ski locker

100 lbs. of lead under the rear seats

450 (400 sac and 50 lbs. of lead) on both sides of the motor (900 total in back)

200 lbs lead in the nose pushed all the way forward

680 ski locker sac= fly high pro x rear seat bottom fits perfectly

600 both sides of motor(total 1200) = 700 lb pro x fat sacs probably fill to about 600 each side.

Its a supersport and didn't have any stock ballast. I usually ride with 2-4 people in the boat. If we get more than that then I don't fill it up as much.

80 = pop bags next to driver for balancing

sbt3,

I think I may have asked you this before, but do you have any pics of those big sacs in your rear compartments that you could send me? Did you put bigger boards beside the engine so the sacs don't touch the motor? The boards that come with the boat are really short and flimsy and that is why I have not put those big sacs back there in my '97 Super Sport. Thanks for any help.

400 lead in the nose
400 in the rear (tanks and lead)
150 under rear seat
400 ski locker
250-300 with an additional sac on the floor
75 lead brick for a swing weight(balancing).

the biggest wake ive ridden had the three stock tanks and pro x series sacs beside the motor and a pro series sac in the front. dunno the weights but it was huge

2001 Super Air

* 600lbs in the belly, pushed as far forward in the locker as possible

* 400lbs on either side of the engine, by way of Nautique wedge sacs, and a lot of gear on top of them.

* 300 lbs in the nose

= 1300lbs, +,- 50lbs before bodies.

That's my standard setup that I tend to begin and end the season with. I am always playing with this configuration, which is why I haven't drilled and plumbed my boat for a permanent system. I always seem to go back to this setup each time.

jwat- not sure if I ever gave you the pics or not in the past. The sacs fit perfect. You need to move your battery or batteries up and take out the lift arm for them to fit really perfectly. I used the gel batteries cause I couldn't fit wet batteries in boxes where I put the blue tops. I am using some metal shelves that rest on the engine to keep the sacs off it. It has worked pretty good for the past 3 seasons. I was thinking of making something nicer looking this year but it works and nobody really sees it so who cares I guess. Maybe if I get motivated I will come up with something cleaner.
I still need to ride with you one of these days. Indiana is still my sales territory. I will drop you a line if I am coming down there once it warms up.
