Is it worth the upgrade to the chubby tower.
And why.

Yes. It is much stiffer and stronger than the stock tower.

ABSOLUTLEY! Should i say it again. YES it is. Its an awesome tower, even with all the weight i have on mine its still pretty solid. If your going with a 215 or bigger its a must imo just for looks. I think the other towers look alittle small on the bigger boats. I have a pic of mine in my profile.

Get the wake-air option, stainless with swivel board racks by far the best looking one avail from Sanger,It is very solid too.Folds down in a snap doesn't hit interior, I put it on all my V215's and larger this year, hopefully it pays off. Check out profile pic

I prefer the looks of the Chubby, my brother has it on his V-210, and he loves it.
I've got the early Skylon on mine, works great, but has that old school look.

I ordered my 210 with the Chubby and love it as well. The normal Swoop would have worked just fine on the 210 but I thought the Chubby looked much better. I notice your profile to be from Knoxville. I'm from Kingsport but still bleed Orange here in the west so I went with the solid Orange with Black powdercoat Chubby.

could you swap out the standard with the chubby if so what do you think the cost would be?

I have the standard swoop and have never had a problem and I'm 255lbs so durability isn't a question in my mind. If you like the look of the Chubby then go that route but I dont know how much better it look's.
