Has anyone ridden behind one of these yet? I'm interested to know what kind of difference the trim tabs underneath the boat are making?? If anyone has any pics and/or comments it would be appreciated!

I have always been told the trim tabs are useless unless you ski.

The tabs for the 2010 boat are for surfing.

Ya that's what a friend of mine that owns the local MC dealer here told me as well...they're surf tabs, not so much for wakeboarding or skiing?

If it has a middle tab than that can be used to adjust the wake for wakeboarding and also mellow the wake for skiing. The outer tabs would be strictly for surfing or cruising.

I am curious how much the side tabs effect the wakeboarding wake. I know they are made to aide surfing, but they have to effect the wake somehow at wakeboarding speeds.

In a neutral position none of the tabs have any effect on the wake.

Rob, outside tabs act to adjust the bow of the boat. It basically simulates adding or removing weight from the nose. In addition to that, it can be used to adjust the list of the boat.

I've got a Sanger with tabs on the sides, and it definitely helps for: lengthening the pocket, toning down the wave for beginners (without removing weight), and neutralizing boat list for cruising.
