Yes, they couldnt fulfill warrantees and they weren't paying their riders.

They aren't out of business, but they're far from what they once were, production wise. Cassette itself is still a company and thomas is still working at it, but they're operating under a unique set of circumstances (for a lack of a better term).

I have an 06 bi-level, but only something like 10 of them were shipped to the boardstop, and I think a few other boards were made in extremely limited quantities (my friend has some of those).Upload

i have that same board and the reason i ask is because the top deck cracked and i was wondering if i had to buy a new one or if it was covered so is it? i think they got alot more boards than that

justin, they did not ship out more than ten. I know the owner, he works with me on a different website, and he announced, straight up, that he had 10 42s.

and I'm not sure if your top deck is covered under the warranty or not. the idea was to have replacement decks at an affordable price because a) these boards will eventually break (kind of like if you don't land over the bolts on your skateboard, or the more unfortunate circumstance of submarineing that nose and splitting the boards)

where was i? Right, and b) when you get a new top deck, you pretty much have a new ride.

anyway, I wouldn't expect too much, only because they dont' have a whole lot to give. even thomas suffers as a rider, and I'll leave it at that.

was your board an 05 board with 06 graphics (the re-screened closeouts), or if it's a pure 06, what other dealer had them besides the boardstop?

and the top decks aren't available right now.
