Strong Hull Cleaner

Used star brite hull cleaner to get most of the toilet bowl off last fall(from mooring) I have one last little strip..it seems almost to be baked into the Gelcoat from the sun...the Star brite marine cleaner worked great everywhere else..I just need something sronger for this last little bit..any suggestions on what may be stronger...Also now that she's naked...any great protectant or waxes..layers to use to get her back up to par before i leave her in the water for another season....still looking for a hoist!

Muriatic acid in a 1/4 mix. Wear gloves.

Actually you were really close with the solution in your post. Toilet bowl cleaner which is an acid in a gel like liquid.

You guys ever try boat bling? It's a huge hit with the hotboat crowd. Keeps your boat waxed (which helps to prevent stuff from building up on the hull to begin with) and strips water spots and grime like no other.

Use the Transom sauce for really heavy grime.

I just got done using Meguires Heavy Cut Cleaner #4 which is a car product I think. I had yellow stains in white Fiberglass from flowers that fell into the boat without me seeing it.

It worked better than anything including Acetone. Just put a coat of wax on it afterwards.

If you actually have something on the hull that won't come out with acetone, then I'd try some turtle wax (polishing compound) with a wheel, or perhaps even wetsanding it with a little 1000, 1500, 2000 and then rebuffing with some polishing compound.

At the end of the day wipedown though give that boatbling a try. you won't be dissapointed!

That muriatic acid or whatever will get stuff out that rubbing compound won'••••••• wierd but i recomend that also.
