So, I wasn't able to get my boat into gear and had to be towed in.

When I took a look at my Drive Shaft, I noticed that it was snapped; broken. IS THIS COMMON?

Does anyone a good place to get this fixed? Online Resources..I found skimdim.com to be the best source. Anyone know of a better source?

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out.

You mean the prop shaft actually snapped? Was it still in the strut? Did you lose your prop?

If yes, then no, very uncommon. I've never even heard of that happening, actually.

Skidim is probably your best source as far as prices go. Any local boat dealer can make the repair.

Sorry to hear that.
