I listen to my mp3 player roughly 8 hours a day/5 days a week. After a fall on the job site a few weeks ago I destroyed my old mp3 and need a new one badly. I have a Rhapsody account so I would like it to be compatible since I listen to so much music. My last two players have been the Sony http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Walkman-V...364064&sr=8-18

and the Sony http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Walkman-S...4364142&sr=8-2

Both players lasted roughly a year and did what I wanted. Sony just released their new A series player which looks pretty nice and at 16gb would give me double the storage space. http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/sto...52921666364213

My question is...is there a better Rhapsody compatible player that any one knows about? It needs to be at lease 8gb, fairly small and durable (Sansa mp3 player lasted about 3 months).

I also have a Sirius subscription for the truck and would love a portable player if they could get the antenna issue figured out.

Any help from the WW community would be appreciated.

My headunit/stereo I can control an mp3/hard drive via my screen - so I just bought an "Ipod touch" knockoff from China - was $25 on ebay - always sat in my glove box and I never had to actually use it by hand - that worked great.

Now I use my phone 50% of the time (stream through bluetooth ), and bought a cheap 7" tablet I keep my in my glove box for music, movies and games for passangers. Kind of nice to have if I'm parked and bored too... and if I need portable its usually just my phone these days. I think my "music" card is 4gb + pandora + ESPN radio, thats all i need

I canceled the data package on my phone so no streaming there. I have an HTS Freestyle but can't find a Sirius app for it. If I could I would get another unlimited data package and I'd be set. My phone will play mp3's but I don't really want to go back to "buying" music. My tastes change so much that Rhapsody works great. $12 a month for all the music I want.

Hmmmm, guess I might have to pick up that new Sony mp3 player.
