Cool idea. How come you didn't go with a 7-way plug and have it all integrated into one plug?

thanks
I didn't think about the 7 way, but I was going to use the little 4 prong plug for trailering without the adapter.....but couldn't make it work

I will look into the 7 prong

How about a parts list? I am looking to do the same thing. Do the camera's have night vision? Are they water proof?

I just secured a pvc pipe inside the trailer metal guide pipe and cut a hole in the top of the cap.
that way, the pad tube can still float and spin

the cameras come with a harness and no booster is needed for under 200' (from camera to monitor)

I'm sure there are less expensive cameras out there
not sure about the night vision
have had the plate one for awhile, but the reverse lights light things up.....there are no lights in the camera itself

Looks cool!

I put one on my truck from Costco. It works great and only cost $69. I just wanted something that would help me line up the hitch with the trailer. It is awesome. I can put the hitch ball right under the coupler every single time without having to get in and out of the truck 5 or 6 times like before!
