Im looking for a new board and have some questions about the lf fish. This would be my only board, and i am wondering how this board will work for an everyday board. Or should i be looking for a substance or subjekt to ride everyday? thanks

Dan, It all depends on what you like, have you ridden any of them? I have the Fish and love this board it is the only board I ride now. I have never ridden the other two boards you mentioned so I can not say how they ride but I find the Fish rides as well in all conditions as any other board I have ridden but with softer landings and great pop. I ride the Fish with all the fins on it. Hope this helps.

can't say enough good things about the board, great pop, it's very light for it's width, fast coming into the wake (way faster than the substance), loose without the middle fins on, soft landings. I was worried before I had been on it that it was more of a wake to wake board/not my style (which is what I was told from various people) but it charges out into the flats no problems.

has anyone had problems with the landings because the board is so short? Right now im riding an era 140 and wand a little faster edge and a little more vertical pop. would the fish satisfy my need for speed and pop or would the substance or subjekt satisfy my want better? thanks

I ride the 125 and have had NO problems with landings, it's the only board I ride, and it just displaces so much water because it's wide and has a totally sick contour design on bottom that I haven't had any issues with it at all. It is the sickest board I've ever ridden. Get the '05 for 314 at www.wakegiant.com

with me being 6'2" and 135 lbs, what size should i ride? I know that the 129 would go with my weight, but with me being so tall, should i go with the 133?

i'm at the top of the weight range for my 125, and i think it suits me, don't go bigger, it's made to be short, it'll feel weird at first, but it'll work out, get the 129

Clinton, have you ever rode the substance or any board with 3-stage rocker and molded fins before the fish? If so, how does the fish compare?

Dan, I am 5'11" and 165 and I ride the 133. I never even considered going shorter and have no regrets. You are 6'2" and 135? for real?

dude, I'm 5'9" 145 and I thought I was skinny. Ryan, I was thinking about getting one, and if I got it, I would want to try the 133 and the 129.

Thane im the same exact size as you and the 133 isn't much fun on me. Although I am happy riding a 134 regular board, but, do ride a 138 and prefer it.

dan kasper, it sounds like youd be interested in the absolute. Faster and more pop but not a huge change. a little looser too.

The Fish will have the biggest kick off the wake, but the Subjekt and Substance aren't chumps in that department, either. Mike Dick See Dick Ride Wakeboards www.seedickride.com (701)682-5515 mike@seedickride.com

I demo'd a LF fish this weekend, I didnt give it much of a chance, I ride a Parks all the time and wanted to try a new board. so I demo'd the fish. No dsrespect to the fish owners but I had a hard time with it. I got frustrated with it and put the parks back on, Didnt gve it much of a chance It was cool how short it was and easy to turn for spin's I could see it being a great board to teach people on how wide and easy to trun on.

check out the new watson and shane boards before getting a fish... they both are like their respective previous (popular) boards but with faster speed, more pop, and softer landings.

I'm 6ft and about 165. The first Fish I rode was a 125 and would have bought hte 125 except I got a good deal on the 129. I am pleased withthe 129, these boards float more than anything I have ever ridden.
