Shooting with a powershot S410

I tried to take some pictures with a powershot S410 yesterday from the boat and they all came out blurry. What are some ways as far as playing with the shutter and whatnot to get some good pics? Thanks

Read the owners manual and learn to set it up manually. There is also a sports setting, but manual is even better. BTW Canon water housing are only $150 from amazon.com. I've taken mine to 100ft multiple times.
