Entering the cable competition at McCormicks next weekend, worked out a run today. I'll be riding intermediate division.

(Start)
Nose Press backside 180 out on the 50ft flatbar
Toeside 540 on the fupa
(corner)
Ollie 180 over the small kicker
Back board tail press up, nose jib over the hip, back lip tail press down backside 270 out on the rooftop
(corner)
Wrapped nose grab TS OA BS 360 off the big kicker

What do you think?

You're going to get bumped a division. Don't sandbag. With that run you should be in advanced.

Well I don't have any air tricks and the next division up includes air tricks and I'll get murdered!

I will but I will only be there once between now and the competition and don't have time to learn them

Yeah my money is that they pump you up a division.

air tricks take like 3 tries to learn.

one day at mccormicks i went from zero air tricks to having these down:
broll
roll2revert
mobe
raley/krypt

just do them on the corner right before the pickup, then you've barely got a walk/swim

I'm goofy footed too so any air tricks would be to the inside unless I do them switch. I plan to learn air tricks but I have been focusing on my rail riding because I didn't think I would be good enough for advanced with or without them. But if you guys think I could do ok in advanced with a couple of air tricks to the inside I'll go for it

Tom, your run sounds good and I dont think you are sandbagging at all. Couple thoughts... Why are you skipping the incline rail before the flatrail at the start? Also, if you can do any tricks on the small kicker it will be worth more than the ollie 180 over it... Other than that good luck man!!

Whenever I hit the incline my flatbar hit is always sketchy, but I'll be out there tomorrow working on it for a couple hours after school. I've never really hit the small kicker but I could try something off of it, maybe a backroll.

Thanks for the tips man. You working tomorrow?
