Do you think it will work on the boat? Or should I just get the iS75

I'd pass on DUAL and I'd be concerned with durability on that when the boats bouncing around.

I'll second the comment on dual. Plus, a lot of boats have the stereo mounted in a place where that would get whacked or not even fit.

Sam, if I were doing an iPod specific HU id be going with the Alpine IDA-X100. If you wanna spend a little less you can go with the X200.

Sam ,also check out the Fusion MS-IP500 it's a marine rated deck like that Dual one.Alpine makes a marine version of the one Hate posted,IDA-X100M.

You may also wan to check the Kenwood KMR-700U. Just ordered it along with 3 new remotes. I won't be able to install it until after Christmas, but it looked good to me.

Alpine CDA-9886 with Isimple 75.

Here's why:

-headunit has 3 sets of 4v pre out's

-Is75 allows me to go into the bottom of my ipod for a better signal and into RCA's into the back of the deck. I don't use the full speed cable b/c I like to control via ipod...not headunit.

That was one caveat I had with the iDA's they have 3 Pre outs but ony 2V. But the interface looks killer and performs well from what I have seen.

I second the Kenwood KMR-700U, I was at a local shop and they demo'ed one for me. I'm not a big Kenwood fan but... Pretty sweet.

have a dual in our boat...its lasted 3 years and been SOAKING wet... and if you do get it, go from walmart their return policy is "We are to big to care, here is another"
