El Capitan Lake in San Diego

Is it true El cap lake is only open on Sundays for Water Contact?

Yup. ...and when San V closes it's Saturday water contact at the end of this month it will be El Cap only, 80 boat limit, 1 day per week for a county with a population of 3 million.

Well, true, but only for the winter season. And from personal experience, there aren't many boaters out there in the winter. I think we peaked at four other boats last winter. Usually only 2 or 3 besides us, if that. (San V was closed for several months last winter due to low water levels, so it was El Cap only last year too.)
